Due to a recent regulatory change in the United States, we are suspending the sale of items from our Shop.Singpost.com store to U.S. addresses effective 22 August 2025. We understand this may be an inconvenience, and have prepared the following information to address your questions.

  1. Why can't I ship items from Shop.Singpost.com to the U.S. anymore?

    A new U.S. customs regulation will suspend the de minimis exemption for all international shipments, effective 29 August 2025. This change means all imports, regardless of value, will now be subject to new duties and taxes. To ensure all shipments are compliant and avoid potential issues for our customers, we are suspending this service.

  2. What is the de minimis exemption?

    The de minimis exemption previously allowed imports valued at US$800 or below to enter the U.S. without being subject to duties and taxes. This change by the U.S. government impacts all international shipping providers, not just SingPost.

  3. When did this change take effect?

    The U.S. regulation is effective from 29 August 2025. As a precautionary measure to prevent any items with commercial value from being affected, we will suspend sales to U.S. addresses on Shop.Singpost.com as of 22 August 2025.

  1. I placed an order on Shop.Singpost.com for delivery to a U.S. address before 22 August 2025. Will it still be delivered?

    Yes, all orders placed before the suspension date will be processed and shipped as planned. We are working to ensure that these orders are delivered in a timely manner. Please use your tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress.

  3. What happens if I place an order for delivery to the US after 22 Aug?

    From 22 August 2025, we’ll be discontinuing shipments to U.S. addresses. Should you place an order delivering to a U.S. address after this time, we will cancel it and issue your refund within 10 business days.
