Description
Built in 1903 and operated till 2011, the old Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) railway used to run from Tanjong Pagar to Johor. The railway line underwent several changes and was realigned in 1932. The last train departed from Singapore on 30 June 2011 and since then, the land once occupied by the KTM railway has been transformed into the Rail Corridor, a seamless green belt that provides a respite for people.
This stamp series features some iconic landmarks along the Rail Corridor, as well as the flora and fauna you can observe while journeying on the Rail Corridor.
