This issue of stamps commemorates the 2024 Summer Olympics with a series showing some of our nation’s sporting strengths. Singapore’s contingent to the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad is our 18th since our debut at the 1948 Games.

Our athletes will be among 10,500 from 206 countries vying for glory. More than 5,000 medals are being readied for the 329 events in 32 sports.

This oldest and largest of multi-sports competitions in the world is being held across 35 venues in France from 26 July to 11 August 2024. It is beloved as a global celebration of athleticism, friendship, solidarity and fair play.
